Mahbubeh Mojtahed (Maya) lived to tell her tale of survival after spending a number of years as a political prisoner in Iran during the 1980s. Thinking her newborn son was being taken away from her in the depths of the notorious Evin prison, she instead experiences a moment of brief reconnection.
